    The method behind Máni

    Before Máni was an app, it was a discovery.

    Knut competed himself — a black belt in BJJ with professional MMA fights behind him — before years spent working on performance, anxiety and health with elite athletes chasing every possible edge. Turns out the biggest one wasn't a supplement or a protocol. It was sleep, right in front of us the whole time. So he went all in, running independent doctoral research and coaching people who'd tried everything, from Orkla and Stabburet to the Norwegian pilots' association.

    Most sleep advice is right; the hard part is doing it. That's what a decade of hands-on work taught him — not just what the science says, but what actually gets people to change. He's been building toward Máni since 2018.
